What we do?

Myotherapy Melbourne focuses on Mobility Maintenance and the Injury Rehab Process.

Mobility Maintenance is a proactive measure that aims to prevent chronic injury. Everyday humans put ourselves in some strange positions. Whether that’s driving a car, sitting at a desk or building and fixing things. This can result in feeling pain, discomfort or immobility. If we leave this and hope it just goes away, it can further progress to a chronic injury. Spencer’s clients come in at various intervals depending on their lifestyle. They can come either weekly, fortnightly, monthly or whenever they initially feel the pain come on.

The Injury Rehab Process is a 3-step plan to treat injury. Preparation or “Prehab” is the acute stage of injury. Sometimes people can struggle beginning rehab due to either pain, weakness or immobility. The Prehab stage is all about pain management to give someone the ability begin rehab.

Rehab is the process of adding exercises to build strength and mobility to the injury to begin the recovery process.

Recovery is the process of getting back to how you were (or even better) before the injury
